FLEXIBLE MID-SPEED ASM SIPLACE PLACEMENT PLATFORM

ASM E by SIPLACE (SIPLACE E Series) SMT Machines

E by SIPLACE, commonly searched as the SIPLACE E Series, is a flexible mid-speed SMT placement platform configured primarily by its installed placement head rather than separate E1 or E2 model names. CP14, CP12, CP12/PP and TH configurations support applications ranging from high-speed small-component placement to mixed, large and odd-shaped component production.

Depending on the installed configuration, E by SIPLACE supports up to 120 positions for standard 8 mm feeders and optional long-board production up to 1,200 × 460 mm. Compare available used machines, head configurations, feeder tables, conveyors, software versions, machine condition and spare-parts support before requesting a quotation.

Platform Overview

What Is E by SIPLACE?

E by SIPLACE is a flexible mid-speed SMT placement platform commonly referred to as the SIPLACE E Series. Unlike machine families organized around numbered models, its production role is determined mainly by the installed CP14, CP12, CP12/PP or TH placement head.

How Do You Select an E by SIPLACE Configuration?

E by SIPLACE was designed as a flexible all-round placement platform for the mid-speed segment. A machine can be configured for fast small-component placement, broad mixed-component production or large and odd-shaped component handling.

The machine name alone does not confirm its production capability. The installed CP14, CP12, CP12/PP or TH head, feeder tables, conveyor arrangement, software version, long-board option and current condition should be checked before quotation.

Information to Confirm Before Selection

  • Complete machine label and manufacturing year
  • Installed CP14, CP12, CP12/PP or TH placement head
  • Required small, medium, large or odd-shaped component range
  • PCB dimensions, thickness and long-board requirement
  • Required feeder quantity and tape widths
  • Component-table and conveyor configuration
  • Software version and line-integration requirements
  • Machine condition, destination and delivery schedule
Placement-Head Comparison

What Is the Difference Between E by SIPLACE CP14, CP12, CP12/PP and TH Heads?

The main difference between the E by SIPLACE CP14, CP12, CP12/PP and TH placement heads is their supported component range and production role. CP14 prioritizes high-speed placement of small components, CP12 provides flexible small-to-medium component coverage, CP12/PP combines collect-and-place and pick-and-place operation, while TH handles large, heavy and odd-shaped components.

Placement Head Primary Placement Role Component Range Maximum Component Height Published Accuracy Published Benchmark Speed
CP14 High-speed placement of small components 01005 to 6 × 6 mm Up to 4 mm ±34 µm @ 3σ Up to 45,300 CPH
CP12 Flexible small-to-medium component placement 01005 to 18.7 × 18.7 mm Up to 7.5 mm ±41 µm @ 3σ Up to 24,300 CPH
CP12/PP Mixed-component placement with switchable C&P and P&P modes 01005 to 45 × 87.5 mm Up to 19 mm ±30 µm @ 3σ Up to 24,200 CPH
TH Placement of large, heavy and odd-shaped components 0201 to 200 × 110 mm Up to 25 mm ±30 µm @ 3σ Up to 5,200 CPH

Published performance values describe the placement-head configurations. Actual machine output and component capability depend on the installed head, conveyor setup, feeder configuration, software version, production program and condition of the used machine.

Production Fit and Supply Support

Where SIPLACE E Series Machines Fit Best

The platform is most useful where manufacturers need a balanced mix of placement quality, flexible component handling, manageable investment and continued support for an established ASM production environment.

01

High-Mix SMT Production

Configure the machine for broad product mixes, frequent changeovers and different component sizes without building a high-volume-only line.

02

Mixed Component Handling

Combine fast small-component placement with flexible or odd-shaped component capability through the appropriate head configuration.

03

Large and Long PCB Projects

Review long-board options, conveyor setup and PCB support when the project includes extended or heavier circuit boards.

04

Established Line Continuity

Source compatible machines, feeders and parts for factories already operating E by SIPLACE equipment and trained workflows.

Supply Process

From E Series Requirement to Delivery

E by SIPLACE equipment should be checked by installed head, feeder setup, conveyor configuration, software generation and current condition rather than the series name alone.

01

Application Review

Confirm component sizes, required output, PCB dimensions, feeder quantity, head requirement and production purpose.

02

Configuration Matching

Identify the suitable CP14, CP12, CP12/PP or TH configuration and review available machine options.

03

Machine Verification

Review labels, installed head, feeder tables, conveyor, software information, photos and available test details.

04

Packing and Delivery

Confirm included equipment, feeder packages, export packing, shipment details and destination requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

SIPLACE E Series Machine Questions

Common information about E by SIPLACE machines, placement-head configurations, component range, feeders, long-board options and used-equipment supply.

Yes. E by SIPLACE is the official platform name, while customers and equipment listings often use SIPLACE E Series or ASM E Series as search terms.

E by SIPLACE is not normally divided into E1 or E2 machine models. Machines are primarily identified by their installed placement-head configuration, including CP14 for small-component speed, CP12 for flexible placement, CP12/PP for mixed collect-and-place and pick-and-place production, and TH for large or odd-shaped components.

Used and refurbished E by SIPLACE machines may be available according to inventory. The installed head, feeder tables, conveyor, software version, condition and included accessories should be confirmed individually.

The CP12/PP combi-head is designed for flexible mixed-component placement because it can switch between collect-and-place and pick-and-place modes through software commands.

The published range depends on the installed head. CP14, CP12 and CP12/PP can handle components beginning at 01005, while the TH head supports large components up to 200 × 110 mm.

The platform supports up to 120 positions based on 8 mm feeder-slot width. The actual setup depends on feeder sizes, component tables and the configuration supplied with the machine.

With the Long-Board Option, the published PCB range extends up to 1,200 × 460 mm. The installed conveyor and board-support configuration must be verified on the actual machine.

Feeders, placement heads, nozzles, motors, boards, sensors, cameras, cables and other parts can be matched using the complete machine model, original part number, installed position and photos.

Please provide the machine-label photo, required head configuration, component range, PCB size, feeder requirement, preferred machine condition, destination country and whether the request is for a complete machine or replacement parts.
